Intro to Export Compliance: Know Before You Go
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is an ONSITE ONLY event to be held in Stillwater at the Oklahoma State University Center Wes Watkins Center for International Trade Development. Whether you're a newcomer to global trade or an experienced exporter, understanding the complexities of export compliance is essential for a successful and legally sound journey. Join us for an entry-level Export Compliance Training hosted by the Oklahoma SBDC and the Oklahoma State University Center for International Trade Development. Attendees will obtain the following knowledge from this event: * Gain an understanding of export compliance and its significance in international trade. * Learn about key export control laws and regulations, including ITAR and EAR, and the responsible enforcement agencies. * Explore best practices for export documentation, shipping terms, and building a culture of export compliance awareness. * Engage with an expert consultant to identify red flags, develop reporting procedures, and learn how to handle non-compliance issues effectively.
