SBIR/STTR 101
This is a professional collaboration between Oklahoma SBDC and OK Catalyst. This workshop is an introduction to the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, including participating agencies, application criteria, funding phases, and the support provided by OK Catalyst. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of how these highly competitive federal funding programs work and what makes a strong proposal. We’ll also discuss how SBIR/STTR awards can help move innovative ideas from concept to commercialization and how to determine whether your technology or product is a good fit. We will also offer dedicated Q&A time with the presenters, so participants can get tailored guidance on their specific projects and next steps. Whether you’re exploring SBIR/STTR for the first time or preparing to apply, this session will leave you better equipped to pursue funding opportunities confidently.
