Topic: Managing a Business

Roadmap for Resiliency This will be the second segment of the resiliency training series, which is focused on looking at organizational culture and management strategies that are aimed at being able to meet the many challenges small businesses face. These issues range from day-to-day challenges to large scale emergencies. In this segment, we will focus our training on external ways of mitigating your business exposure. We will learn about various aspects of business insurance coverage, such as business disruption, catastrophe events, theft, flood, and cyber insurance policy types. Not all bad events can be avoided. Part of being resilient is making sure you have the coverage in place to recover after an unexpected negative event. Attendees can expect to walk away with handouts helping them move forward in developing a strategic plan of resilience for their business along with a copy of the presentation. There will also be time allowed for attendees to ask questions.
