Roadmap for Resiliency - Series 1 of 3 Today's small business must be ready to deal with all types of hazards (both man-made and natural disasters). It's not possible to anticipate or plan in advance for every type of challenge, but having a resilient culture will make your business more able to adapt to whatever it faces and can actually determine whether or not you are able to stay in business. Not only can nurturing a culture of organizational resilience help your company thrive in normal time, it could also help your company survive in a time of crisis. This initial discussion will provide you with strategies and a better understanding of how to prepare your team to be adaptable to the uncertainties faced by small businesses. Topics of Discussion: * Resilience Focused Leadership - Leading your business through a change isn't only during emergencies. * Situational Awareness - Know what kind of emergencies might affect your company. * Engaging Staff - Include people from all levels in being ready to handle the unpredictable. * Resiliency Assessment Tools - Carefully assess how your company functions, internally and externally. * Promoting Preparedness - Encourage your employees to: Be informed, Make a Plan. * Built for Adaptability - Having a resilient culture will help your business be prepared for the unexpected. Attendees can expect to walk away with handouts helping them move forward in developing a strategic plan of resilience for their business along with a copy of the presentation. There will also be time allowed for attendees to ask questions.
